Our Story
Signature Audio was established in 2005. Based in Cheshire in the North West of England, we service the UK for concerts and live events. We are the Cheshire based sound company specialising in live music.
The North West is a breeding ground for live music but new artists can struggle with poor quality in house PA’s.
There are a handful of exceptional sound reinforcement companies covering the North West area but they are expensive and tend to only cater for very large events. Signature Audio was borne out of the need for quality sound systems, large and small, professionally engineered, at affordable prices…
The History...
Signature Audio was established in 2005 by Joseph Bullen. Joseph is an experienced professional drummer and has an ear for all things audio based, following in his father’s footsteps! He started his retail experience in 2001 at the age of 15 working for the major drum retailer in East Anglia on Saturdays.
After leaving school, becoming very knowledgeable on drums, audio equipment, repairs, and various aspects of running a business, Joseph soon rose to a management position, running the shops online presence. During that time, he was involved in sound and lighting equipment for a jazz/function band and at the church he attended.
After studying at Chester University and playing in a function band that he helped establish, Joseph quickly realised the lack of a totally dedicated, yet affordable audio hire service in the North West. He made the decision to establish Signature Audio as a Cheshire based sound company to serve the North West and beyond; making his years of experience and knowledge available once more to musicians and companies across the country.
